Forest Queen Van
2019 Ford Transit 250 High Roof
Full-time-ready DIY camper build
The van
This is Forest Queen Van, the Ford Transit I built for full-time living, remote work, and long stretches on the road. It is not a factory RV and it is not a quick weekend conversion. It is a build I kept improving as I learned what actually mattered.
The goal was simple: make a small space that could handle real life. Sleep, cook, work, stay warm, stay powered, carry gear, and still feel good to be inside.

What makes it different
I built this around full-time use, not just occasional camping. The 80/20 frame, floor, electrical system, water system, heat, solar, storage, and interior all had to work together in a space that is always moving.
It is stealthy enough for cities, comfortable enough for long trips, and documented enough that you can see exactly what went into it before you reach out.
A good fit for
Remote work
A small mobile office with enough power for normal work days.
Outdoor gear
Storage for bikes, boards, skis, climbing gear, and the usual road-life mess.
City parking
A plain exterior with a livable interior, useful when a normal parking spot matters.
Someone who wants the hard part done
A finished build with photos, costs, systems notes, and plenty of road testing behind it.
